Preschool Graduation

Vanessa could have gone to Kindergarten last year, but we decided to delay this until this fall. We knew she was socially ready, but had no idea if she was academically ready. I feel she is definitely ready now. She can write her name just fine, she can count to 100, and she is also learning how to read. She is a head shorter than most of her friends at her same age. Vanessa is more than outgoing, she is such a sweet, helpful girl.

Thursday, June 26th was the graduation ceremony for Vanessa at Draper Park, following we ate lunch with our family and all the other children's families and played at the Park. It was a fun day for Vanessa! We dolled her up with a "Princess do" for the special occasion.

Crayons

Last Monday for Family Home Evening we had a lesson where we colored a picture, we finally gave Ashton a chance to color for the very first time. He was sooooo excited! His little face just lit up like I had never seen before! He found something he was very thrilled about learning!

Sweet Face

I just had to post this, Ashton taking a long look in the mirror!

Happy Father's Day!

Dave got a little bit spoiled on Father's day, although we have been thinking about getting his big gift for some time now and finally we found a great deal on a Toyota Tundra!

I also put together a little frame with vinyl lettering for him, but I didn't get the picture I wanted in it yet, so that is coming sooner than later!

We gave both of our father's a gift certificate to go golfing! Happy Father's day DADS!

I haven't had a chance to blog for awhile now because of my crazy busy life, so excuse me for posting long overdue posts on my blog!

My little Pirate?

So when we were at the mall the other day, all of a sudden Chandler has his shoulder showing off, with his shirt down below it. I asked him, "What are you doing?", and his reply was "I'm a pirate!"....ha ha ha, it made me laugh but I still don't know where on earth he learned that a pirate shows off their shoulders????

Smile.

This is one of the joys of being a parent, a smile that melts your heart! Ashton is now 15 months old! He loves to get around all sorts of ways these days from his bum skoot to the normal crawl, YES I said he can CRAWL!!! ha ha ha, I didn't think it would ever happen but he finally did it! He also walks around the furniture hanging on it, he also does the famous "Monkey crawl" that both Vanessa and Chandler did when they were little itty bitty's. YES he finally accomplished a big milestone in life, actually two of them...
1~ YES ladies and gentleman HE CAN STAND! Stand without holding on to anything, and pull himself up in the middle of the room into a standing position, I bet in just a few weeks our little munchkin will be walking.

2~ Mastered the STAIRS! He learned this last Monday, June 9th...he had previously made it up to one step a while back, but didn't realize until last week that he already had the ability to do it now! I think he can do more things than he decides to do, a little faith Ash!!!

(Vanessa also accomplished a milestone the same day, look for her video!)

Best Buds!

Little Ash and Big Ramseys just love to chill together. Ashton sometimes will poke Ramseys in the eye or face and he’ll just sit there and take it. They love each other! It’s so cute!

Bum Jumping

So I went to S. Weber to pick Vanessa up from her sleep over with Emma, and we spent a little time with Sarah and her kids before we left. Ashton is on the timid, shy side and he will just sit there and be perfect, it was cute. He kept giving Sarah some funny faces that made us laugh. So I decided to put Ashton up on the trampoline and it sure brought out his personality. Enjoy, it is very entertaining to me!
