Christmas EVE at the Frisby's

Since when I can remember we have always done a "Christmas Program" growing up....we missed the last few years because of family missionaries and newborn babies, and we had grown up. But this year is different, the time has come to start it up all over again, we have little children that CAN participate and be the Christmas program!!!! My sister Becky has always loved being in charge of planning the program and printing up little flyers and everything. So leave it to Becky and we can come up with some fun things!!! I sang "Where are you Christmas", Vanessa & Chandler sang "Jingle Bells". I also spend 24 hours or more putting together a DVD picture montage of the Frisby family, which turned out exceptional! WE had lots of fun! Thanks for bros and sistas for all the hard work!

The Glass Christmas Eve party on Friday...

All I have to say is Dave and I have THEE coolest families!!! We had a yummy Enchilada dinner because Melissa doesn't like HAM...ha ha...but you know what, I am not too fond of Ham either...don't get me wrong I have had some really good ham but... I think I would prefer enchiladas or something else. But I love me some Turkey!!! Through all the BUSTLE we tried and I guess managed to reinact the Nativity scene. Skylar was Joseph and Vanessa was Mary, and so forth....here are some fun pictures of our AWESOME Christmas party!!!

Christmas at the Glass House

We did put up our Christmas decorations just after Thanksgiving day. Here is what the Glass House looks like at Christmas. We finally put lights up outside, some day I want to decorate all 20 trees in our front yard, but for now we have one big, HUGE Christmas Tree that is decorated.

I also put up a Christmas Village, I love doing it because my children love looking at it, their imaginations come alive. I have two Christmas trees we decorate, one in our family room for the children and one in front of our window in our living room that I get to decorate by myself. The Christmas spirit is staying here for the season! Merry Christmas!!!

Ashton is 9 months old!!!

Ashton turned 9 months on the 11th!!!! He went to his well-child visit on Thursday the 13th. I guessed he was 18 lbs but he is actually 17.5 lbs, and every thinks he is such a big boy but apparently he's NOT, he is only 12 percentile in weight, 50 percentile being average, so he is way below average!

Much has happened with our little one the past couple of days!!!! December 5, 2007: Ashton started clapping his hands, not perfect, but he has been making good attempts.

On Sunday, December 9th we were getting all upset that Ashton was getting sick again, after he had just healed from a cold and ear infection....Dave said he swore his front tooth was coming in...and I told him that it isn't normal for the front tooth to come in first...so I almost brushed it off without even investigating, I had checked his mouth about a hundred times to see if any were coming in before. I looked in and there was a little tip of his left front tooth peeking out!!! I looked on the bottom, directly below the one coming in and he had another tooth peeking out!!!! So he has been a little fussy, but not bad enough for such a happy, laid back little baby!!! We are so lucky to have such a sweet boy in our lives!!! Thankyou Heavenly Father!

Seven Year Anniversary

We were married in the Jordan River Temple on Friday, November 17th, 2000!!! I can't believe I have been married seven years!!! It's been wonderful! I love being married, and I absolutely love my husband, Dave!!! He has always treated me like a Princess, he always calls me Princess Janica and I call him Sir David...we have come along way!!! We have definitely paid our dues to get where we are now today. The house we have...the children...it hasn't come to us on a silver platter, it was well worth it!!! You haven't lived until you experience children together!!! We love our children very much!!! WE ARE STILL IN LOVE, even though our time flies by with children wearing us out! We look forward to the eternities we get to spend with each other! Yay for families FOREVER!

Dave was in charge of coming up with ideas for our anniversary events, and he definitely did a great job!!! He always does, he thinks of the coolest things to do! He sent me away from our house for a few hours...then I came back and when I opened the door there was a trail of red roses, they lead me to a card with all of his thoughts and love, and then I followed some more roses to the living room....Dave had put up some awesome drapes in our living room!!! Then I looked at the adjacent wall and found a panoramic picture of the Jordan River Temple that I had been eyeing!!! I was definitely spoiled!!! We didn't have much time to eat out, so we had a quick bite to eat at Wendy's and then we went to the movie theater to watch, "The Bourne Ultimatum". We had a great ol' time!!! Then Dave read the card I made up that had a DVD attached to it, I put together a DVD with pictures and music on it about our time spent together.

I love my cute kids!

The little children living within the Glass House are Vanessa Madison, Chandler LeGrande, and Ashton Scott. I love taking pictures of them!

Tagged by Two!

So I was tagged by two different people, Karrissa and Amber. This was really hard to think about when I found myself put on the spot, but of course there are things I do differently or even considered weird!

1. My biggest weird thing I do is that I “dig” when I sleep, and what does that mean? My toes scratch the blankets back and forth and blankets don’t last very long with me. But I love doing it because it helps me tire out so I can sleep! I don’t do it that much anymore because I started getting these major Charlie horses in my calves, where it gets stuck in a painful spot…this usually happens when I am pregnant.

2. I tivo Days of Our Lives, they are my second family, I wish Sami would get over the stupid vendetta!

3. I came up with Vanessa’s and Chandler’s names when I was about ten years old, I had my mom buy me a baby name book and I would circle the one’s I wanted for my future children and it was also another way to get ideas to name my Barbies.

4. I am a clean freak, and though I have children it makes it this much harder to keep up on it...especially when they follow me room to room to mess up what I have already cleaned! I have to wear gloves when I do the dishes and clean everything else. I have to have the house clean before I go to bed for the night!

5. My favorite restaurant is Red Lobster! Every year for my birthday I have to eat there! I love shrimp, shrimp, and more shrimp!!!!

6. I am a Cesar Wannabe, I watch dog whisperer all of the time and would love to be a dog whisperer like him one day…when I have free time.

7. I hate cantaloupe, eggnog and beets…sorry but I just can’t stand them!

So now I have to tag some people...I tag Amanda, Amy, and Kristin...if you already been tagged you can either do it again or disregard it.

8 months is here!

Ashton is now 8 months old! He is getting so much personality! He has been our easiest child SO FAR, but his personality is becoming more and more like Vanessa's personality! He seems to be outgoing, loves pulling funny faces, and much more! He loves to blow bubbles, he is very loving and he is now starting to put his hands out for the person who he wants to be held by. He loves DOGS! He'll watch them for hours! I use to have Ashton trained to fall asleep by himself and now Dave has been reversing it by wanting to hold him all of the time! We love him!

Chandler's birthday Surprise!

Alexia Ryleigh Chadwick was born on Chandler's birthday! Last Saturday I made a prediction to Becky that she would have her baby on Chandler's birthday and she did! Alexia was 6 lbs 7 oz and 20 inches long! I am really excited about this baby because she is my first niece! Finally we have another girl in the family!!!! I took some really cute pictures of her, so enjoy!

Chandler's Birthday!!!

Chandler was born on a Monday at 8:05 a.m. on November 1st, he was only 6 lbs 5 oz. and 18 1/2 inches long! He came 13 days early! I never told my sister Becky or my brother Brad that I was pregnant with Chandler while they were on their missions. So Becky came home when I was 5 months along with him. She was mad at me for not telling her! Brad's homecoming was November 6th, and my due date was November 14th, so I figured Brad would come home with me ready to "POP", but the joke was even better when I had Chandler early and Brad came home to a little bundle instead. Brad didn't have to wait for his first nephew to come into the world, he was very surprised to come home and see us with another baby, he first thought we were babysitting. He was so surprised that I had a baby without him knowing about it!
All about Chandler: Chandler is quiet when he is out of his comfort zone, his comfort zone being his HOME. If he is around familiar people he'll be himself. He is very smart, he can count to twenty already and he knows his colors (he has known this for at least 6 months). He is very humorous, he likes to pull some pretty hilarious faces, he really entertains me. If I am ever upset with him, he'll do his "manipulation face" and it warms your heart, makes you smile and forget why you were ever mad at him. I love to look at his eyes, he has one brown eye and one blue. He loves his CARS, he has probably over a hundred of them. His favorite movie is CARS, and he loves to go on walks with me while he pushes his fire truck around the block. He wants a big dog, even though the last big dog (Kiya) we had would knock him down on purpose and make him cry. He his my HANDSOME boy!
November 1st, 2007: So Chandler is now three years old, we celebrated his birthday today by eating out at the Red Lobster and then taking him to Walmart to pick out a gift for himself. He gets to open the rest of his gifts at his Birthday party on Saturday.
This is when I "balded" Chandler to bring in his thick hair
