Poor Granny!

Yesterday Granny had an accident, she fell in her apartment and broke her wrist and a small bone in her neck! She had to be transported to the new IHC Hospital in Murray, Utah. They had a specialist look at her wrist, and she will be staying at the Hospital until further notice. Brittany, Vanessa, Chandler and I went to visit Granny today, she is having a hard time eating her food, as you can see the neck brace isn't helping too much with that, neither is the nausea. There are a few things that are preventing her from coming home, she needs to start eating solids and she continues to go in for more x-rays. I love my Granny and I hate seeing her like this! She was thrilled to see us, especially the kids because they immediately made her laugh.

Car Vs. Moose

I wanted to post this a while back, but got a little sidetracked! On one of my dad's business trips, he got in a car accident, the Moose being his opponent. Neither the Van or the Moose made it out alive! My dad was told that he was also pretty lucky himself, since he came out with no harm! Take a look at the pictures! This all happened Mid-July.

Pioneer Day

We did something simple for Pioneer day. I made a chicken pasta salad for my little family and the Frisby side: dad, mom, Britt, Becky and her kids, Jacen and Alexia. We ate dinner at my parent's house and then we lit up our own fireworks in their front yard. Dave took Chandler to buy the fireworks, Chanman was so thrilled about going! The kids had a good time!

Dinosaur Museum

We went with our good friend Marci and her children, Katrien and Kayden to the Dinosaur Museum. We had fun with the kids and seeing all of the dinosaur bones. The kids even became Paleontologists and had fun finding dinosaur bones in the sand.

Children's Discovery Garden

We went to The Children's Discovery Garden at Thanksgiving Point again! This time we went with a bunch of people: Marci and her two kids, Isabelle and her two kids, Jason and his family, and my mother-in-law and the grandchildren she was watching. We had lots of fun, it is nice to take the kids out to do something fun each week, it helps keep the sanity! lol.

My nephew Peter's 2nd birthday!

Happy Birthday Peter! I know I am slow at posting at times, but I take so many pictures that it can be overwhelming to post all at once! I got a bunch of cute and funny pictures at Peter's birthday party!

Jacen & Chandler were so quiet as Peter opened his presents, poor boys...I think they were sad they weren't having the birthday, look at Jacen's face!

Ashton kept doing cute little poses, so I have a few pics of him on here.

You know your child is amazing when...

...When you ask your 5 year old to get the D.V.D player out of the playroom (and that's all you intended them to do) and they proceed to hook up the input and output cords along with the power cord and switch the T.V. to D.V.D and put the movie in and get it to play!

Dave and I watched this in disbelief and wondered how she learned this system so quickly, she must have been intently watching what we've been doing all this time!

Clark's Planetarium

Monday, July 7th:

We decided to spend FHE at the Clark's Planetarium watching Sea Monsters 3D. We invited my sister Brittany to come with us. We had a lot of fun! After the movie we checked out the Planetarium and then we had Mexican food at La Costa.

Did she really do that?

These are one of those times that I say "oh my GAD!" This happened a while back, I didn't really ever want to post this, but now that time has passed, I thought that some of my readers would love a good laugh! Vanessa has a friend that she loves to play with at school, his name is Ian. Well, one day at school Vanessa and Ian decided they wanted to play "wild cats", I guess that is where they get on their hands and knees and growl at each other. LOL So as they were playing this game or what not, Vanessa decided to hunt Ian and he was attempting to crawl away and she caught him and decided to BITE HIS BUTT!!!! Did she really do that? YES! So whenever I see this little boy, that's all I can think of!


Another thing that happened with Vanessa but I have never told anyone cause it is just shocking to me! Vanessa has been kissed! She was kissed at 4 years old!!! Ahhhh!

Not so little any more!

Poor Ramseys!!! On Monday, June 30th, Ramseys went to the Veterinarian to get neutered. It's sad but it is the best thing for him!!!! We did get to weigh him and find out his weight!!! What do you think this 7 month old boy weighs? Well, he ended up weighing a lot less than I thought! He now weighs 75 lbs.! A big jump from just 8 lbs at 8 weeks old! He will continually grow bigger until 2 years old, the average weight for an adult Great Dane is between 160-200 lbs for males. Ramseys goes through 7 1/2 cups of dog food a day, we have been buying 40 lbs of dog food about every three weeks. Ramseys will probably end up eating about 11 cups of dog food daily when he is an adult.
