Farewell Sister Frisby!

Brittany and I have been connected to the hip since she was born! I wanted to care for Brittany like she was my own so I carried her around every where I went. I even took it upon myself to move her into my bedroom. We shared the same bed until one day she peed on me. Ha ha! But I still loved her! he he! So we have always been such great sisters. So I will really miss her while she is on her mission! We are all so lucky to have such a wonderful family!!!

Brittany had her farewell on Sunday, October 14th! Her talk was amazing! For a second I thought she was giving her Homecoming talk it was that good! So I will be excited to see what her talk will be like when she gets home! It was fun to see her enjoy the moment with her friends and family.

We then had to say goodbye to Sister Frisby on Wednesday, October 17th. This wasn't just any ordinary day either, six years ago it was the day that our Grandma Winward passed away! We ate breakfast at Ihop before Brittany left and we said our goodbye's and I can't wait to say our hi's once again! I love you Brittany! Good luck!

7 months? You kidding me?

Can you believe my little cute face is 7 months old! I wish time would slow down so I could savor more of every moment! Ashton is now sitting up and now we are working on crawling. He loves to fixate on TiKa the dog, he loves watching her, I think he would love to reach out and grab her! We are now getting the hang of three children and we love it! We have the time of our lives with them! We are so blessed!

I love this picture! It is a post-must!

Our Home

Can you believe it? It's already been over two years that we have lived in our home! I wanted to post a picture of our house because I know many of my friends haven't had a chance to see it yet. We are so thankful to be blessed with a home that we can raise our children in!!!! Yay!

We have remodeled a few things, here are some pictures of what we've done:

Before

After

(Dave and Brian did the mantel, Dave did the tile)

Dave putting hardwood in our living room

After

When we bought our home, it was out-dated back in the 80's (cream walls, tan carpet and linoleum)...so ever since we have been slowly remodeling. We took a huge break when I went back to school to finish and now we have started up remodeling again. This is our living room, before it had cream walls and khaki colored carpet, with tan tile by the front door. Dave layed the real hardwood floors down by himself, he did all the moulding and I am the painter! I love painting and he loves doing the wood-work.

So this is our ugly bathroom on the main floor that is now undergoing construction, we chose browns for this bathroom and we will also tile the floors and the walls. Dave loves doing detail work, I will do a before and after shot when we finally finish the project!

Dave is all about the REAL stuff, this is the real old stone travertine tile that we are using, it will look a slightly different color when it is up and finished.

In the shadows of love

Little love is so much a lot
These little hands have shown how you taught
My eyes show all of my dreams
My daddy's love is what carries me
My little feet has slowed you down
In a twinkle I'll be in my wedding gown
Two little shadows walking in hand and hand
Daddy you'll always be my big man!

MMmmm Charlie Chows!

September 1, 2007: On the Glass side, there are a few birthdays in the family including Dave's dad Joe, his brother Ben and his mom, Ruth. We celebrated everyone's birthday by eating at one the family's favorite restaurants Charlie Chows downtown, SLC. We had such a fun and crazy time together!

Children of the Corn

Sunday, September 9th: So back in September we had a BBQ with Dave's Uncle Winston's family. It was fun and way yummy! So Tim, Melissa, Dave and I and the kids decided to take some funny pictures in their corn field! I thought I had some pictures of Melissa and Tim too but I was taking their pictures with their camera, so as soon as I get some I will post theirs too. We are a crazy, silly family and we love it! Enjoy!
