I am thankful for...
About a year ago today, as I was recovering in the hospital after I had baby Ashton, Dave came up to me with a concerned look and said that he needed to look for a new job. He had done this a couple of times prior to this occasion, but I could tell this time he really had to. The few times before I wasn't concerned, I had this feeling everything would work out. This time I was a little bit on edge for the rest of the year, but I knew that 2008 would bring better changes. We always said to each other, maybe the job for him just wasn't available yet. So after praying, fasting, concern, and more concern Dave flew out to Boston last Friday for his last job interview with a company he had been talking with. They flew him first class, picked him up in a limo, paid for his expenses out there, he had a great ol' time...but still he had to wait it out until Monday to find out if he would receive a job offer. So as soon as Dave found out he had to call me from his work, and with great joy in his voice told me he had received a job offer with better pay and insurance! He was so excited to accept the job! I really did dance for joy! Our prayers were answered, no more concern!!! The job will be here in Utah, with some traveling and such...in a week and a half, Dave will be flying back out to Boston for 2 weeks of training...how on earth will I survive with three kids all by myself? A definite learning experience with much growing on my part! I am so thankful for a husband who is smart and loves to work! I am so thankful for all of his talents!!! For all those who prayed for us, Thankyou!!!! To HF: Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I well understand the stress of job searching, waiting . . . to find out, and the elation of finally gettng the job offer. That is so exciting! I'm glad you don't have to relocate your family. I never really realized how much Christian does (emotionally and physically) for our family, until we no longer have him around during the weeks. It is hard, but you will get through it. You are an amazing mom. Hang in there and rely on people (people are always willing to help, you just have to ask!).
